Uusio Collective is a multidisciplinary studio exploring cutting-edge ideas in science and technology through artistic practice. Merging technical prowess with strong artistic vision, we create impactful public-facing artworks for museums, science centres, and cultural festivals.
Founded by Finland-based visual artists Pekko Vasantola and Sheung Yiu, with Roberto Fusco being a core working member, the collective consists of media artists and technologists with diverse skills, including immersive spaces, robotics, light installations, virtual worlds, soundscapes, and wearable technology.
Uusio fosters dialogue between art and science by bringing artists together with research groups in forest ecology, geoinformatics, cognitive science, microbiology, and computer science.
